It has been a while...
Some parts pf this update were coded and created all the way back in January/February, but most of it was produced in the last two days.
That said, I've already forgotten most of what I've done. Here is what I remember:
- Changes
- Added parry
- Reworked block-breaking attacks to be parry-able
- Indicated by yellow glow
- Reworked block-breaking attacks to be parry-able
- Completed map for Yoshikage Kira fight
- Reworked Yoshikage Kira fight
- More health after BTD
- Visual filter after BTD
- Looks at player at start of most attacks
- Added tutorial
- Road Roller now only happens under a certain amount of health
- Block can now be performed in the middle of an attack
- Works as somewhat of an animation cancel
- Added parry
The majority of this update, however, was focused on polishing and fixing bugs that were brought to my attention by XanderLander's recent video. If you haven't seen or watched it, I highly recommend you go and check it out!
- Bug fixes
- Barrage sounds will no longer bug out and continue indefinitely
- DIO does not freeze time more than once
- Player animations do not get stuck
- Music works after dying during timestop
- BTD no longer occurs twice
- There is a much shorter delay before BTD
- Kira will no longer do other attacks beforehand
That's all (that I can remember) for this update. Stay tuned for more news on whatever's coming next. I'll give you two little hints - one change was suggested in XanderLander's video, and the other was teased in Kira's fight just like a certain feature was teased in DIO's (and still is).
