There is currently no objective, just get as much money as you can. 

You play as a topo (mole) scavenging scrap in the desert. Talk to some people in town (bottom left), or go searching for scrap, using R to dig when your metal detector starts beeping fast. 

Press E to open and close your inventory, and navigate the inventory menu with your mouse.

When talking to Bigoton, the man with the big moustache, press Y to negotiate another price (Space to land on one) or N to accept his offer.

If your battery runs out or there is no more scrap, talk to Bella.

Tito will give you hints on how much things are really worth.
